John Zucco

Independent Divemaster Instructor
Level 7 Diver

Growing up in South Florida, John developed a deep appreciation for the ocean early in life. But it wasn’t until a trip to Jamaica for his 50th birthday—when he, his wife, and daughter tried scuba diving—that he became truly captivated. He had found a new passion. They discovered Diventures (then known as SeaVentures), where they began taking classes and going on dive trips throughout the Caribbean and Pacific regularly.

Eager to learn more and do more, John trained to become a scuba diving instructor. Now retired from his previous career, he brings that same energy and passion to teaching and leading dive adventures. He thrives on guiding students through their own scuba journey, from their very first breath underwater to advanced training. He loves helping students discover the magic of the underwater world and has taught hundreds of students to do just that.

To him, scuba instruction isn’t just about certification—it’s about building confidence, achieving personal goals, and creating lifelong memories beneath the surface. John is passionate about helping others build those memories and achieve their underwater goals.
