Indonesia Murex Passport to Paradise October 2-14,2028

You’ve reached the ocean floor and pinnacles tower above you as schools of fish race by. You’re surrounded by walls of vibrant colors. You’ve never seen anything quite like it. You continue your journey through the garden of coral excited about what you’ll see next. After every dive you’ll come up saying “DID YOU SEE THAT??”.
Indonesia is made up of over 17,000 islands, some inhabited and many not. Each with its own unique charms and qualities. The islands are nestled between the Indian and Pacific oceans and span Southeast Asia and Oceania. Indonesia is the largest archipelagic state in the world.
The largest islands in Indonesia are Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Sulawesi and New Guinea. The capital and largest city in Indonesia is Jakarta, which lies on the northwest coast of Java.

The diving in Indonesia is unlike anywhere else in the world. Indonesia sits in the heart of the coral triangle with over 17,000 islands, making it the epicenter of biodiversity! The waters around these islands are home to tiny seahorses, colorful nudibranchs, majestic mantas, and so much more. There is something for everyone!
The diving is just as diverse as the animals. Divers can enjoy thrilling drift dives, night dives, colorful reef dives, wall dives, unique muck dives and wreck dives. With the abundance of marine life and diving, Indonesia is a diver’s paradise!

With this package you hit Manado, Bangka and Lembeh three very different underwater worlds.-
Manado: wall dives, big coral structures, healthy reef life.
-
Bangka: colorful coral gardens, more relaxed island vibe.
-
Lembeh: world-famous for “muck diving” — extreme macro, weird critters, photographers’ dream.
-
-
Seamless Travel Between Resorts
The trip is designed to minimize downtime: boat transfers connect the resorts, and you do dives during those transfers.-
No need to pack/unpack gear at each stop.
-
You even get extra guided dives “along the way."
-
-
Expert Dive Team & High-Quality Guides
Murex’s dive guides are very experienced — many are local, trained in marine biology, critter identification, and underwater photography.-
They keep dive groups small (e.g., 4 divers per guide), which means more personalized attention.
-
They also maintain consistent procedures across all three resorts, so you don’t feel like you’re starting over when you move.
-
-
Rich On-Land/Topside Experiences
It’s not just about diving — the Passport includes opportunities to explore North Sulawesi’s culture and nature.-
Trek through rainforest (e.g., Tangkoko Nature Reserve) to see tarsiers, macaques, hornbills, etc.
-
There are tours to volcanoes, local markets, and cultural spots.
-
Plus, relaxing nights on the beach (Bangka) or in Murex’s tropical gardens give a nice balance of “adventure + chill.”
-
Day 1 | Arrival Day
Our staff will welcome and escort you to our resort. The car journey time is between 45 minutes to 1 hour. Upon arrival at Murex Manado you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink & snack. We will show you to your room for a quick refresh before a welcome briefing. Dinner is served at 7:00 PM.
Day 2 | First Day of Diving
Coffee is available starting at 5:30 AM, and breakfast is served from 7:00 AM. On your first day of diving, we ease into the adventure with a slightly later departure around 10:00 AM to give everyone time to settle in, prepare gear, reconnect with friends, and enjoy the beauty of a tropical morning. We’ll head out for two boat dives in Bunaken Marine Park, with lunch served on board between dives. The boat typically returns to Murex around 3:30 PM.
Day 3 - 4 | Diving Days
Boats depart at 8:00 AM and we will return to Bunaken for 2 more morning dives. Lunch is served at the resort. The afternoon is ‘free time’ so you can chose to relax at the pool, take a city tour of Manado, or opt for one of our other tours and activities
Day 5 | Manado to Bangka
This morning you’ll make your first Passport to Paradise boat transfer from Murex Manado to Murex Bangka Resort. During the boat transfer you’ll make 2 dives along the way. The dive sites are between both locations and are not often accessed by other resorts.
Day 6 | First Day Diving Bangka
Boats depart at 8:15 AM and we’ll make two reef dives around Bangka Island. Lunch is served at the resort. Options for afternoon, night and blackwater dives are available. Alternatively you can choose to simply relax in a hammock and enjoy the white sand beach. Or you may prefer kayaking through the mangroves which is extremely peaceful.
Day 7 - 8 | Diving Bangka
We plan 2 morning dives and return to the resort for lunch. Options for afternoon, night and blackwater dives are available. Or you can take our popular guided trek to our local village of Lihunu which showcases the local way of life and cultural aspects of North Sulawesi. (The Lihunu tour is in addition to your package however kayaking is included) Day 9 | Bangka to Lembeh Your second Passport to Paradise boat transfer from Murex Bangka to Lembeh Resort. Once again you’ll make 2 dives at remote dive sites along the way.
Day 10 - 11 | Diving Lembeh Strait
Enjoy 2 morning muck dives with the weirdest critters on the planet including Hairy Frogfish, Flamboyant Cuttlefish, Blue Ring Octopus, Hairy Shrimp, Mimic Octopus - and the list goes on! Lunch is served in the restaurant at Lembeh Resort Optional afternoon, night, blackwater or bonfire dives are also available.
Day 12 | Final Day
Depending on your flight times, you may take your final dives or you can choose to relax on your last day or you may prefer to take one of our tours. Our tours are a great way to experience the culture and see the stunning natural beauty of North Sulawesi. More detailed information about our tours can be found at the end of this document. We can also tailor make tours according to what you wish to see.
Day 13 | Farewell
